Dyed hair has long been an indispensable attribute of female beauty and attractiveness. And very many women torture their hair, causing them harm with paints with ammonia and other aggressive chemical additives. Still, because we all want to brag a smooth tone of hair or change their appearance, emphasizing individuality and beauty. We women are such unstable beings, we demand regular changes corresponding to the state of our inner world. All this, of course, is fine, but that's just one "but". In fashion - health!
At the present time, more and more people admire the natural color of hair. And it's great. Whatever you say, a natural color always looks much better than an artificial one. But, what to do, if mother-nature awarded disobedient ringlets? Or without coloring really can not do. In such cases, we knock down our legs in search of less harmful paint, even if at an unrealistically overpriced price. And in the end we get the same result - overdried, often lifeless hair.
But why such difficulties? As they say: "Why pay more?" And besides it is conscious to harm yourself?
We just need to remember the remedy that for many centuries, enjoyed by
all the women of the world - natural herbal dyes henna and basma. In ancient times, women used henna and basma not only to change their appearance, they served and still serve - a medicine.
They nourish the scalp, accompany the acceleration of hair growth,
strengthen them and return to your locks the vitality and strength. But this is exactly what really cares every woman, when the question concerns hair.
Useful properties of henna
So, let's talk about these miraculous tools a little more detailed. Very few people know that henna is made from the leaves of the bush of lavson.
And since the plant has strong disinfecting properties, henna is widely
used in medicine, for example, for the treatment of sutures and wounds,
for skin and bone diseases, for the treatment of nails, and even for
headaches.
And it's not a secret for anybody that henna is painted on the body,
which serves not only as an ornament, but also as an ancient oriental
treatment for the human body.
How to dye hair with henna?
But back to the topic of dyeing hair and talk about the process itself.
It should be immediately cautioned that you should not apply henna to
previously colored hair or chemical perm, as the effect may not please
you.
Depending on the length of the hair, several packs should be taken at
once, from 1 to 3. Use an unnecessary towel (on the shoulders), gloves,
hair clips and cellophane film.
Stir henna with hot boiled water (in the proportion indicated on the packet) so that no lumps remain in the homogeneous mass. In dyeing hair with henna, there are many small tricks that will help you get the desired shade of hair. Here are a few simple tips:
- When you add beetroot juice to henna, the color is much brighter.
- When adding 3-4 spoons of cocoa, the paint will become more reddish.
- Strongly brewed tea will make your hair light yellow.
- To make your hair look golden, it is worth adding a couple of spoons of chamomile tincture.
- Perhaps, you prefer a chestnut shade? Great, then you should add 4 spoons of coffee.
With regard to the time of dyeing, then for dark hair - 1-1.5 hours, and for light - 0.5-1 hour. After painting, rinse the henna thoroughly with water. And remember, do not abuse. Do not dye your hair more than once every 2 months. Do not wash your hair with shampoo for 2-3 days so that the paint is properly fixed.
Useful properties of basma
As for basma, it is first of all worth noting that unlike henna, basma has stronger coloring properties.
In the old days, ink was made from it, and women painted their hair,
eyebrows and eyelashes in dark colors (from light chestnut to saturated
black). But only with the addition of henna. Using basma in its pure form, you risk dye your hair in an unwanted green color.
Basma is a powder from the crushed leaves of indigo growing in a tropical climate.
It, as well as henna, contains vitamins and biologically active
substances, gives shine and strength to the hair, and besides -
eliminates dandruff.
How to paint hair with basma?
The way to color the hair with basma is not much different from henna.
In the porcelain container you need to pour out a bag of henna and a
bag of basma (depending on the length and thickness of your hair you can
more). Pour in hot water and diligently stir so that there is no clot. Should be a mixture, in density resembling sour cream. Do not apply unclean paint on clean damp or dry hair. And remember that you should always start with the occipital part, since it stains the longest. Then the top of the head, whiskey, bangs. At the end, we put on the package, and wraps the towel on top. The time of staining depends on the desired color. The more saturated - the longer, but do not hold more than 2 hours. We wash our hair with plain water. We do not use shampoo for 2-3 more days.
Well, if we talk about the drawbacks of natural colors, then when you
use them you will not get the same effect as when painting with paints
with chemical additives. And the periodicity of coloring should be increased, in order to maintain the desired hair color. But health is always more important, is not it? "Cons" with the use of henna and basma become completely invisible when you realize all the "pluses". It must be remembered that it is health that guarantees the longevity of your beauty and attractiveness.
